Unspoiled Natural Beauty
Bhutan is a nature lover’s paradise, boasting untouched landscapes, dense forests, and towering mountain peaks. Located close to the centre of Bhutan, the glacial valley of Gangety is often referred to as the most beautiful destination in Bhutan with its lush forests and flowery meadows. Not far from Gangety, you’ll appreciate the high altitude of Dochula Pass as you enjoy spectacular views over the high peaks of the Eastern Himalayas.
Comprised of four beautiful mountain valleys, a visit to the Bumthang region will find you exploring many prominent Buddhist temples and monasteries and is considered to be the spiritual centre of the Himalayan Kingdom.
Majestic Temples and spiritual experiences

Getting here involves a bit of uphill legwork, but Taktshang Monastery, also known as “Tiger’s Nest” Monastery is worth the effort. Sitting high on the side of a cliff above the Paro valley it is perhaps one of the most famous sites in Bhutan.
Another interesting site to visit is the Chimi Lhakhang. Adorned with unique designs and an intriguing history, you won’t be surprised to learn this site is also known as the temple of fertility.
Now housing a College of Bhutanese Astrology, the riverside monastery complex of Pangri Zampa was founded in the early 16th century and is said to be one of the oldest in Bhutan.
