Be mesmerized by the camp-fire beneath the canopy of stars before retiring to your twin share spacious bell style glamping tent.
This gently challenging experience is led by our experienced local guides who live on and love the trekking landscape. The trek is accented with rustic-luxe touches including gourmet catering, sundown drinks and glamorously appointed bell tents, just bring your own sleeping bag and pillow.

Arrive Mount IsaToday is arrival day in Mt Isa. Nestled among the red beauty of the Selwyn Ranges, Mount Isa is a melting pot of industry and home to one of the most productive single mines in world history. Tonight relax, explore the town, and perhaps head out to the local pub for dinner.
Travel to the Stock CampThis morning you will be picked up for the 190km drive West along the Barkly Highway to Camooweal, well-known as the gateway to the Northern Territory & Queensland. Enjoying the golden scenery of the true Aussie Outback, stop along the way to stretch the legs and to enjoy a picnic lunch on Herbertvale Station, before arriving at The Stockcamp, your home for the next few days. Here, you’ll enjoy the open skies and all the beauty of Glamping under the stars. Take your time settling into your bell tent and enjoying the peace and quiet of the outback. As the sun begins to set over the expansive desert, head to the Old Station for sundowners and enjoy the desert atmosphere. Dinner tonight, like the next four nights, is thoughtfully prepared using only the finest local produce and flavours. And what better place to enjoy a meal with new friends than under the inky outback night sky, delicately scattered with more stars than you could imagine. (L,D)
Pinnacle TrailThis morning after a hearty breakfast, you’ll head off to hike The Pinnacle Trail. The Trail traverses across the sparse spinifex hills, and you’ll be amazed by the sheer expanse and never-ending views across the Gulf Savannah Region. After an energetic morning, you’ll be ready to tuck into the gourmet lunch that awaits. Meet vehicles to transfer you to The Big Gorge where you’ll relax away the afternoon eating, exploring, and enjoying the majestic landscape. (B,L,D)
Riverview TrackAfter a classic desert camp breakfast (complete with billy tea), you’re heading to explore the Riverview Track. Follow your guide as you trace the path of the river, past gum trees along landscapes reminiscent of Waltzing Matilda. At lunch, it’s time for the team at The Stockcamp to prepare and spoil you with an array of delights during The Long Lunch. Sit back, relax and enjoy great conversation, cold drinks and gourmet food with your travelling companions. This afternoon we’ll drive out to the Border Waterhole and explore the untouched beauty of the landscape. Pick up a paddleboard and cruise around, take a wander to explore the waterhole by foot, or take a more relaxed approach and let the water work its magic on your muscles. Yet another delicious night of dining and relaxing around the safari-styled dinner table under the sparkling night skies. (B,L,D)
Lost CityToday we drive to The Lost City to explore these ancient rock formations. Wandering through this spectacular landscape, you’ll understand the timeless, hidden history of the region. Another gourmet picnic awaits at The Look Out. This afternoon when you return to The Stockcamp you have the option to walk to Stockcamp Gorge (4 km round trip) to enjoy a fantastic view from the lookout. The perfect place to relax and reflect on the last few days of your outback escape. (B,L,D)
Boodjamulla National ParkThis morning after another bountiful breakfast, depart The Stockcamp to drive north into Boodjamulla (Lawn Hill) National Park and your home for the night, Adels Grove. This is a 90km drive across some of Queensland’s larger cattle stations and provides an insight into the outback lifestyle far removed from the city. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at Lawn Hill Gorge. Then it is time to explore the towering sandstone cliffs lining the gorge, the emerald waters and lush vegetation - a true visual splendour. The Indarri Falls is a highlight and we have the choice to explore either on foot or by canoe. After such a beautiful day you’ll be ready for your sunset drinks on the deck followed by dinner at Adels Grove. (B,L,D)
Return to Mount IsaOur last breakfast together this morning at Adels Grove before we head back to Mt Isa. Quickly passing through the everchanging landscape you arriving at Mt Isa by 2pm for our any flight connections home. (B)
